All content, materials, features, and functionality available on MockPal, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, video clips, data compilations, and software, are the property of MockPal or its content suppliers and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

2. Permitted Uses

Subject to these terms and conditions, MockPal grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

• Access and use the MockPal platform for your personal, non-commercial use in preparing for CELPIP examinations
• Download and print materials solely for your personal study purposes
• Share your own created content within the platform's designated sharing features

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not, without our express written permission:

• Reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of our content
• Use the platform for commercial purposes or for the benefit of any third party
• Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from our content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software or technology used in our platform
• Use automated systems or bots to access or interact with our platform
• Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account

4. User-Generated Content

4.1 Your Rights

You retain ownership of any original content you create and submit to MockPal, such as written responses, audio recordings, and other materials.

4.2 License to MockPal

By submitting content to MockPal, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing our services, including AI analysis and feedback.

4.3 Content Standards

All user-generated content must comply with our community guidelines and must not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.

5. Third-Party Content

MockPal may include content licensed from third parties. Such content remains the property of the respective owners and is subject to separate licensing terms. We do not claim ownership of third-party content and respect the intellectual property rights of all content creators.

6. Educational Fair Use

MockPal operates under educational fair use principles. We may include copyrighted materials for educational purposes, criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, or research, as permitted under applicable copyright laws. All such uses are limited in scope and purpose.

7. DMCA Compliance

MockPal respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and will respond to valid takedown notices.

7.1 Filing a DMCA Notice

If you believe that content on our platform infringes your copyright, please provide us with a written notice containing:

3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on our platform

7.2 Counter-Notification

If you believe that content you posted was wrongfully removed due to a DMCA notice, you may file a counter-notification with the same information requirements as outlined above, plus a statement of good faith belief that the material was removed by mistake.

MockPal, the MockPal logo, and other MockPal trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos are trademarks or registered trademarks of MockPal. Other trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos used in connection with our platform may be the trademarks of their respective owners.

9. Copyright Infringement Policy

MockPal has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to our platform and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others.
